Charity bid

THE countdown is on for a special fundraising day where brides and grooms and their wedding party get one more chance to wear their wedding outfits.

Brides, grooms, bridesmaids, mother of the brides, maids of honour and guests are all invited to get dressed up in anything wedding related for Brides at Work, in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Anyone can take part in the fundraising event on Friday September 17. If you don’t want to wear your wedding dress, you could wear a tiara with a veil or dress up as part of the wedding party.

It’s all part of the National Wedding Show’s charity initiative in the run up to the National Wedding Show, on October 1 to 3 at Earls Court, London and on October 8 to 10 at the NEC, Birmingham.

More than 46,000 women are diagnosed with Breast Cancer every year in the UK. Breakthrough Breast Cancer is a pioneering charity dedicated to saving lives and changing futures through research, campaigning and education. For information and to register, visit www.breakthrough.org.uk/bridesatwork.
